Located in the quiet suburb of Deakin, Calvary John James is the largest private, not-for-profit hospital in the ACT, servicing a regional population of 518,000 and admitting over 17,000 patients per year.

Vision
Our Vision identifies that we are striving to be, and to be recognised as, a leader in strengthening and developing Catholic health at regional and national levels through the creation of integrated models of care, where excellence and leadership are pursued by all, to best meet the needs of the people and communities we serve.

Mission
Our Mission is to bring the healing ministry of Jesus to those who are sick, dying, and in need, through 'being for others':

  • In the spirit of Mary standing by her son on Calvary
  • Through the provision of quality, responsive and compassionate health and aged care services based on Gospel values and
  • In celebration of the rich heritage and story of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary
